Hello

Well I hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving! I have had a busy day, I cleaned the kitchen, and went shopping, don't worry it was the grocery store, came home and made homemade chicken and dumplings and started on my matchbook album, I now have 3 done! I need to make about 4 more, but I may do a few tomorrow. I must say they are very fun, and to give credit, I watched a YouTube video by Kathy Orta, she is awesome!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Bread is rising to make homemade yeast rolls, green beens are prepped, bacon is cooked and corn is ready! We are spending Thanksgiving at my sister' s home. My Mom is making the Ham and Best stuffing in the world! My sister and her family are preparing the rest.
I was watching some YouTube videos this week and checking out one of my All Time Favorites "kathyorta" and she did a tutorial on a "Matchbook Album", all I can say is Love It! I got all of my supplies and last night after work, I went and did one! Yes, in less than one night I did an entire album!

Times are very tough here, my honey is now a full time student, so no extra income coming in from his old job(lost it, and SC is a right to work state, so they denied him unemployment) my eldest child is looking for a job, so I have my income, plus my hubby has some retirement income, look I ranted! The reason I am getting to all this is because we are not buying gifts this year! Yes, you heard right! I am making a few and giving my children a small amount of cash, I have managed to put aside, but that is it. I am blessed to have a wonderful family!

So, I wanted to show you what I have done. Now, I am going
to go back and write measurements out and such, but I really LOVE it! Thank you Kathy Orta for doing an awesome tutorial!

Thanksgiving

I can't believe how fast this year has been flying by! I did my "I am Thankful for" on facebook this week, went to a Wonderful "Thanksgiving Dinner" hosted by one of my co-workers, Tracy.
I am getting ready to start on my Christmas cards for friends and family( totally crazy! Different directions for each of them)
Have not purchased one Christmas gift! We are keeping it very simple this year, times are too tough, and my children and family understand(thank goodness).
Here is a Thankgiving card that I adore! Hope you do too!

Time to Scrap!

Hello, I hope everyone remembers today is Veterans Day, remember to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces for serving and protecting this great country of ours!
Well, I had a bad time sleeping last night, woke up at 4 and just stayed awake, so after feeding the animals and making myself a pot of coffee, I went and played on my Silouhette and my E2 and made a layout for a challenge for "My Creative Time for Me" (Emma's blog). Here it is, hope you enjoy!

Week is almost over and I've done nothing!

The week is almost over, and I still need to start on so many projects, and I've done nothing! I need to start on Thanksgiving cards, Christmas cards, make a few gifts for family, cards for a swap, and do something for a challenge. I plan to spend most of my day tomorrow doing all that, but I have no mojo! What's a girl to do?
I hope everyone has a fantastic day, and I hope to create! This is what one of the pages we created at S.H.E.A. For a Christmas paper bag album, my favorite page!

Hey

Hope everyone is well! My BFF went back to Hawaii after a week long visit. We had so much fun and did a lot, but not tons of scrapbooking! We went to a huge scrapbook yard sale at my LSS, and we went to Folly Beach, the flea market, scrapbook classes, a 12 hour crop, and a card swap. We enjoyed our time together, but it went by way too fast!here is a 12x12 page I did for a challenge at the crop, no I did not win, but I still had a great time!

Busy!

Well, I woke up this morning, and while everyone was asleep I made a pot of Dunkin' Dounuts Pumpkin Spice coffee and spent time in my craft space. I turned on the tv and took out some molds and clay and made some roses, buttons a little girls dress and a little boys jumper. I then started working on my cards for two different card swaps, one that my BFF, Gwynn is hosting over at Two Peas and one for a swap at my LSS, Scrappin' Happily Ever After. I watched old shows like the Waltons and then spoke with my BFF on ooVoo for a bit. Hope you like the embellishments I made! The picture is a bit blurry, but I hope you can make them out.

Long time, so sorry

Well, it has been a long time since I have posted. I have been busy with work and deep cleaning, so I haven't done much crafting. I am so tired by the time I get home from work that all I want to do is crawl in bed and sleep. Our lives are still topsy turvy but I pray God will steer us in the right direction.
Here is something I did a few days back. I know the lighting is bad. The pictures are of my children when they were small. I hope you like the layout.

My post will be short and sweet, my youngest daughter is graduating from high school today, so I don't have much, no pictures yet, but will have some up this weekend. My husband and I are very proud of her, good job Eryn!
I did not get on the Design Team at Pink Cricut, but I am OK with it, just wasn't my time, but I will continue to learn and observe and hopefully gain more knowledge. Sarah has some Wonderful new stamp sets out, so go and check them out at the PinkbyDesign store!
Tanner Bell AKA MrCricutcrazy is also releasing stamp sets tonight, and PeachyKeen released some yesterday(Friday).
Ok, 6 AM comes early!

Today I did a card using the super-cute Imaginisce Happy Camper line!

I LOVE, love, LOVE this line- there’s just so much you can do with it–once, I get it out- I can’t stop making things with it!
Which is why it’s so great that I am going to be giving one away!!

I used some Divine Twine, a button and the stamped sentiment is from PBD Woodland Critters

So— how does a Pink Cricut friend win the Imaginisce Happy Camper line?

Sad week

Good day All,
This has been a sad week at work. One of our former team mate passed away from breast cancer and she did not tell any of us she had it. We are still unclear if she knew she had it or if she had just found out. She was only 41, and she will be missed so very much.
I am asking anyone who reads my blog to Please go and have a mammogram, tell everyone you know. I have one every year and I urge you to go. Here is a card I made.

Hello

It seems as if it has been ages since I last posted! Life has been so busy that I don't seem to have enough hours in the day to do any scrapbooking! I have been working, doing some volunteering and trying to get the rest of my spring cleaning done. We have been cleaning drawers out that had bills in and yes, they were all paid, but I saved them, crazy I know, We are getting rid of stuff we don't need or use, my daughters are doing the same. Now I need a maid to come in and clean for me, oh wait I do that too! LOL!
Life has a way of going by so fast that we need to stop, slow down and take time to enjoy the things that give us pleasure!
I have been slowly working on a wedding album for my BFF, Gwynn and I have been working on 2 Baby albums for a co-worker. I finished the baby albums last night so this is just a page from it! Hope you enjoy!
Remember to take some time and do something enjoy!

MIA

I know I have been MIA for a few weeks! I had eye surgery, so any strain has caused me to get a headache, then my eye swells and turns red. No crafting is driving me nuts!
The good thing is I am cleaning my craft area, as I think I overtook the office space. We still have the huge massive desk, but instead of the desktop( which no one uses, we all have laptops, so we are donating it to Goodwill)
I placed my Imagine on it! We still have the wireless printer, and the drawers have work/ school related things. I got rid of my 6 foot table, it is in the garage, have a 4 foot one, scrubby moved furniture all around and I am getting my Expedite in the mail today! It is only the 2 shelf one, but it comes with a desk, and my hubby said when we get rid of the massive desk we will also get the 4 shelf unit! I am looking for a stand to place my Imagine, Expression and wireless printer on, but where I will be able to access them easily.
I go back to work next week, since I was on medical leave this week, I just can't believe I did not get any scrappin' in!
Take care, Glenda
